Great post Vince! I am a huge fan of the Rich Dad series and the game Cash Flow is by far my favorite to play. If you haven't played it, you have to. 100 times better than Monopoly.

One thing I would like to add is that there are 5 components to true wealth. Most people when they hear 'wealth', they think money. However, this is not correct. Here are the five elements that must be present to be truly wealthy. (Note: this is from memory, so I may be off by one or two.)
Financially
Spiritually
Health
Happiness
Love

Comment on The Conquest Of Time by Tricia

I was watching a show on one of the cable channels and it was a pretty in-depth study of time. That attacked it from 2 angles:

a) Does time actually exist (i.e. is it a human creation or is it a true dimension)
b) The more mundane (but immensely practical) topic of measurement.

Bottom line... I like clocks, particularly old clocks. And I loved the book "Longitude". As a sailor who regularly navigates the "old fashioned" way of sextant and Naval Observatory tables, I rely on a $25 Timex Ironman when I shoot the sun (or moon). Hey, what's 20 miles of so when you're travelling 2,000 over open ocean alone. And yes. I have 2 backup Ironman's.

Thanks for expanding on the longitude aspect of time.

Thanks for the music post, you have given so many points which describe themeselves benefit of music.

When I feel tired, I listen to music and then I feel relaxed so it has really great power which we should understand, for every festival there is different music, for example, music of marriage party, music of independence day, music of birthday party, music of love etc.

Hi Vince,
"As a Man Thinketh" is wonderful reading - BUT - folk have to be ready to receive the message. Another way of saying "the truth will out". We love reading posts like yours.

Comment on Learn To Write Your Sales Letter Before Creating Your Product by John B

I agree that to research what the market wants first is so important to a products success. Although if I were to write a full sales letter before creating the product I might have burned out the excitement of creating the product in the first place. The steps I personally take are..

1. Market research

2. Start the product

3. Draft a sales letter

4. Finish the product

5. Finalize the sales letter

This works better for me although that is my own personal preference.

Good information in the post.

Cheers

Hi Barry Thanks for dropping by again, Andys insights have really changed my viewpoint. I was in manufacting (kitchens) for many years and looking back tended to design what I liked, rather than the other way round, fortunalty enough people liked the stuff to make good sales but I could have sold a hec of a lot more by writing the sales letter first

Just been over to your blog great read and thought provoking stuff

Cheers
